 first we are colouring in pieces of the octopus and then we are going to put them together together we have to go over the lines with black pastel. After we went over at with black how to spell we are going to now put all the pieces together and make our class Weke.

Ruanui

Ruanui was the kaihautu of the waka Mamari in Hawaiki. Ruanui was close friends with Nukutawhiti so that’s why Ruanui sailed with Nukutawhiti to New Zealand on the gaet migrayshin.

The Battle

When Ruanui came to New Zealand hi did a korero well Nukutawhiti was doing a karanga to bring him in. But well Ruanui was doing a korero it called for Special Wales. But Nukutawhiti didn’t want those wales so he didn’t let Ruanui get in so Ruanui he did something als.

Hokianga

Nukutawhiti didn’t let Ruanui get past. So Ruanui sailed around aotearoa and came into hokianga harder and that is were Ruanui setiled.

pepeha Art

pepeha art. The first thing we did was right down the things that we like the most onto a paper. And then we sketched a side of our face and then on the other side we rent a head shaped circle. On the head shape Circle we put our hobbies and things that we like to do and my teacher told me we had to sketch over it with marker . It was so fun using all the colours because the colours were the thing that made my art shine and Pop. I gave my heart to my teacher and she ripped my name in block writing it was cool but I got to colour in and go over and give it and write my pepeha. And after that I got it ready to present at my assembly.

This morning when I woke up and went to school. We waited for Whaea Sally to open the class so we can play with the gutter board  made out of wood then we had to line up in front of Room one and in a line and started to walk down to the train station. We got onto the train and got to the place that we had to be. It was finally  the eight year old's turn to run, they were all  starting to sprinting but I was not and   I was waiting for them slowed down and I got in front and then had to jump over and I won the Run!
  so we were waiting put on the train to come so we play some  boorish
